What we do
Strength training, reformer-led.
At Studio 141, every class is built around one goal: making you stronger, through the precision and control of the reformer.
We’re not a traditional Pilates studio, and we’re not a gym, we sit deliberately in between. Our classes use the reformer to deliver a contemporary repertoire, focused on time under tension, muscular endurance, and high-intensity, low-impact resistance training, drawing inspiration from weighted workouts, building visible, functional strength while protecting your joints and keeping form front and centre.
Start here141 Beginner
45 minFully guided from the ground up. You’ll be taught how to use the reformer properly and build a solid foundation, with progression options offered throughout. Take them when you’re ready, or stick to the base movement for as long as you like.
- If you’ve never tried reformer before, your first class must be 141 Beginner. This is so we can properly show you the reformer, talk you through how it works, and make sure you’re set up safely before progressing further.
- Grip socks must be worn during class for your safety. If you forget to bring a pair, they’re available to purchase in the studio.
Level up141 Elevated
45 minThe step up from 141 Beginner. This class is for members who already have some reformer experience and want to push further, every exercise comes with progression options, which we’ll encourage you to take, though it’s always your choice.
- If you’ve never tried reformer before, you must attend at least one 141 Beginner class before joining 141 Elevated, so we can make sure you’re set up safely first.
- Grip socks must be worn during class for your safety. If you forget to bring a pair, they’re available to purchase in the studio.
